Mondays Off: Ventures to Wisconsin State Parks & Training the Future Environmental Scientists of America

I have Mondays off again and am set on not being inside on that day. This past Monday the kids and I ventured to Brunet Island State Park, WI http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/specific/brunetisland/pdfs/brunetparkmap05.pdf
& Lake Wissota State Park, WI http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/specific/lakewissota/map.html

Both of these were within 20 miles of each other and roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes from us in River Falls, WI. My favorite images are of the kids eating rocks. These are the future Geologists of America. Noah and Greta need a hat like this: http://hats.cafepress.com/item/trucker-hat-i-lick-rocks/18531088

Next week, we're going to get our MN state park pass.
