Escape Artist

Thank you to our wonderful neighbors who noticed an out of place pet on their porch.

On Pete's agenda after his safe arrival home:

1. Chow down
2. Remind Wilson who's in charge
3. Find secret napping spot and snooze the rest of the evening away while the storm rages outside

Weekends Are for Playground

Shorty plastic toddler slide? No, thank you. Too much static.

Zooming down the big old metal slide with Dad. Much better.

This is trip number nine of about a hundred.

Machine Wash Warm, With Like Colors

Anyone have any tips for getting blackberry out of a toddler?

(Sorry, Kevin, but he loved the berries so much that we ate the entire container of them before I realized it. We'll save you some next time)

Lost Cat

If you see this kitty, please send him home. Tell him his family misses him and we promise never to be neglectful again.

Beer Map

Interesting old map, displaying Per Capita Beer Consumption from 1938 and 1968. Note the obvious change in 1968, where it appears Minnesota fell behind Wisconsin. The legend in the lower left hand corner changed the per capita values from +23.0 gallons (1938) to +30.0 gallons (1968). Simply, more people in more states were drinking more beer. While Minnesota lagged behind in 1968, Wisconsin lead the way for beer consumption in the United States. On the other hand, if the map displayed per capita lutefisk consumption, I think Minnesota would reign supreme.

Move Over, Carl Pope

Tree Hugger Noah shows his appreciation for nature. These are imitation trees at the Children's Museum. He loves real bark even more.

Gifted Kid

He's so advanced.
